Wolf Glen Tipis are lovingly made by hand in the heart
of the Scottish Borders. Traditional Sioux designs combine
with outstanding craftsmanship and quality materials to create
a unique, versatile shelter that is both beautiful and practical.
Johnny Morris began making tipis
ten years ago, after giving up his career in architecture
to pursue a way of life that was closer to nature. His first
tipi was his home for several years. During that time, he
mastered the art of tipi living, and
gradually developed his passion into a business. He also plays
with the wave-making Borders folk band, One
Glass Eye.
Moy Mackay has a BA in textile
design from Glasgow School of Art and wide experience of North
American art and craft. She specialises in hand-painted tipi
artwork and running workshops
for children and adults. These include felt-making, textile
printing, instrument making, face painting, storytelling and
tipi living. Visit her website at www.moymackay.com.
